| Experience: | I tutored through Professional Tutoring Services in Rochester. I tutored students from the Greece School District who have been suspended from school for the rest of the year (mainly for behavioral problems). I have taken the Content Specialty Tests in History and Special Education, The Liberal Arts and Science Test, and the Assessment of Teaching Skills-Written, and have passed all four, making me certified to teach history and special education in New York State. I have Student taught and observed (and loved it) in the Rochester City School District (East High school). I also student taught 10th grade AP World History at Churchville-Chili. I can provide references from certified teachers that I have worked with, if needed. |
| Hobbies: | I enjoy reading, going to the movies, and relaxing at home. I particularly enjoy watching horror movies, and "who-dun-its." I am patient and persistent. I also do not dice words-if a student needs to know something, I will let them know. I have also found that little is shocking after working in a city school. I have worked with several students who say things for the effect, and are looking for shock/horror/outrage/etc. |
